Easy Keema Samosa Recipe

Keema Samosa is a delicious Spicy Asian dish having minced meat with other ingredients in a  wrap of flour around it. It is basically originated from a common dish named "Samosa". Same to Samosa, Keema Samosa is also well known to all Asians especially Indians and Pakistani. It is considered one of the cultural dishes of the Indo-Pak Subcontinent.  

Keema Samosa Recipe:

Although Keema Samosa is very easy to cook. But you will find it easier by the recipe given by Chilitos. The recipe for Keema Samosa is given below:

Ingredients for Keema Samosa Recipe: 

Here, a trying amount of ingredients is given, however, you can use it by increasing or decreasing the amount constantly.

Ingredients for the bread sheet of flour

  • 1/2 kg Flour (Farina or Maida)
  • 1/3 Tbsp Cubin Crushed 
  • 1+1/2 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil (Banaspati Oil)

Ingredients for minced meat mixture to be packed inside Farina:

  • 1/2 Kg or 500 grams of Beef Keema (Minced Beef Meat)
  • 1/2 or half Tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tbsp of Laal Mirch (Red Chilli Powder)
  • 1/4 Tbsp of Kachri Powder (Meat Tenderizer)
  • 1 Tbsp Dhanya Bhuni Kutti Hoi (Coriander Powder Roasted and Crushed)
  • 1+1/2 Tbsp Rock Salt (Kala Namak) or as per your taste
  • 1 Tbsp Cubin Roasted and Crushed (Zeera)
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed Red Chilli
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • A little amount of Fresh Green Coriander and Chilies (Cutted)

Ingredients for Glue or Paste to make wrapping:

  • 2 to 3 Tbsp of Farina (Maida)
  • Water 


Basically, there are four steps involved in the process of Cooking Keema Samosa. We will go through each step one by one:

Step 1 (Kneading of Farina or Maida & Making Dough Sheets) :

Take the given amount of  Farina or Maida in an open bowl. Add 1/3 tbsp of crushed Cubin in the flour.  Add some of the water and mix it to the flour. Knead the flour best by hand for about 2 to 3 minutes. After this, add the given amount of vegetable oil and knead again with your hand for about 3 to 5 minutes. 

Keep the kneaded Farina in a plastic bag for half an hour.

After half an hour, knead again for 2 minutes and then make the dough ball. Press each dough ball with the roller and make rounded sheets or bread. 

Now cut each of the bread into two half pieces. 

Step 2 (Cooking of Minced Beef Meat):

Take all of the ingredients mentioned above in a closed cooking container except fresh coriander and green chilies. Mix all the ingredients well by stirring the spoon. Now keep the container on a low flame. Cover the container with the lid and stir it time by time for about 7 to 8 minutes. Now add a 1 and 1/2 cup of water and cover with the lid. Stir the mixture until it dries up. Now add a small-sized chopped onion to it. Add a small amount of fresh coriander and green chilies. 

Take off the container from the flame and keep it for half an hour. 

Step 3 (Making of Glue to agglutinate the Dough Sheets):

Take 2 to 3 Tbsp of Farina Flour and add 3 to 4 Tbsp of water. Stir it well with a spoon. Now make it thick by heating on low flame for 1 to 3 minutes. 

Step 4 (Cooking of Final Crispy Keema Samosa):

Take each half of the dough bread and wrap it in a  triangular shape. Use the glue for the agglutination. Fill each samosa with minced meat and then cover it.

Fry samosa in the hot oil pan until its color turns brownish.
