Easy Chili Garlic Sauce Recipe

Chilli Garlic Ketchup is a paste or sauce usually used while serving various delicious but spicy dishes. In common, Chilli, Garlic Ketchup comes in packets in the market or shops. But it will be more tasty and juicy when you make it in your own kitchen.

Ingredients for Chilli Garlic Sauce Recipe:

The list of ingredients is given below:
  • 1/2 cup Button Red Chillies (Sabut Laal Mirch)
  • 1 cup Hot Water
  • 1/2 cup Garlic (Cloves)
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 Kg Tomatoes Full Red
  • Cinnamon Stick 1 Stick Large(Darchini)
  • 8 to 9 Loung (Cloves)
  • 2 Bey Leaves (Tez Part)
  • Salt 1Tbsp
  • 1 cup Sugar or Brown Sugar


The steps involved in making Chilli Garlic Sauce are given one by one. Go through the whole method before trying it on your own. 

Step 1:

Take 1/2 cup Button Red chilies and Soak it into 1 cup of hot water for 20 minutes, that strain the chilies. 
Now, put the strained button red chilies in the grinder along with 1/2 cup of garlic cloves. Now chop well to both the ingredients in the grinder. Now mix 1 cup of vinegar in the chopped garlic cloves and red chilies.

Step 2:

Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Now put these pieces of tomatoes into a closed container for cooking. Add the cinnamon stick and Loung cloves mentioned above to the container. Also, add 2 bey leaves and 1 Tbsp Pink Salt. 

Now cook, place the container on a low flame, and cook for about 25 to 35 minutes until tomatoes get soft. Now blend the tomatoes with a blender and get a paste.

Remove Bey leaves and cinnamon stick from the tomatoes and strain the mixture. 

Step 3:

Now mix the end products of step 1, step 2, and 1 Cup of Sugar. 

Cook it for 30 to 40 minutes until it gets thick. Keep on stirring while heating it on low flame. Check constantly the sauce via the cold plate method. If it running, it's not done. 

Now your Chilli Garlic Ketchup Sauce is Ready.  Put it into a clean glass jar.

You can store it for 5 to 6 weeks in a refrigerator.
